imageThe T270 and the T280 candybars from Sony Ericsson look very appealing.The T270 and T280, based on Sony Ericsson’s highly successful T610, are designed to appease both the fashion minded and business class consumers. These two new models offer style while not compromising on their functionality sans a hefty price tag. The T270a and T280a support 850/1900 GSM frequencies whereas the T270i and T280i support 900/1800 networks. Pocket-sized at 13mm, both the phones feature Bluetooth connectivity, speakerphone, FM radio and are available in colors of Silver on Black and Copper on Silver. However the T270 does not have a camera and is an "all business" phone with only the essentials. The T280 features a 1.3-megapixel cam.

First in line is the dual-band Sony Ericsson T270. It comes in bar phone-factor and is equipped with a 1.7" 65K TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The internal memory is 10 MB but unfortunately it will feature no card slot to allow expanding it. Other features of the handset include Java support, Bluetooth connectivity and FM radio with RDS. There’s no built-in camera, though.

The T270 and T280 will be available in the same colours, Silver on Black and Copper on Silver. No pricing has been announced as but Sony Ericsson does plan to have the T280 and T270 available to their "select" markets in the first quarter of this year.
