Keepon is a therapeutic robot developed by a US Based company (BeatBots), made to help children with developmental disorders such as autism, in order build up a 2 way interaction between both the kid and the robot. The main goal here as you may have understood is to help to break the barrier between an autistic kid and the rest of the world, by following the kid movement and displaying a video feed of all what Keepon is seeing.
Now the good news is that Keepon will finally be available in Japan starting spring 2010… Hope our little Keepon buddy will change the life of many kids in the future !
