Velodyne has announced its new DEQ-R Series subwoofers for home theater and consumer audio applications. The subs feature a front panel user interface and a remote control with great bass performance.
The DEQ-R is a one-touch, five-band Auto-EQ that has an integrated mic and remote to allow the sub to tune itself to the room. The remote itself can control the volume and a four-position phase control to blend the sub and speakers perfectly.
The line of subs is powered by a digital class D amp and can be had in several different sizes. The DEQ-8R has an 8″ forward firing driver, the DEQ-10R has a 10″ driver, the DEQ-12R has a 12″ driver, and the DEQ-15R has a 15″ driver. Pricing for the series starts at $599 and goes to $1099.
