Here’s a funny play on the old tin can telephones that you always heard about growing up but probably never made on your own (in part because walkie talkies were affordable by the 1980’s and this was as lame as soapbox racers by our time). Anyway, these 5 inch, crushed can desktop speakers by Boost Mobile are the collaborative efforts of graffiti artists MINT and SERF and designer Dean Bradley of Mainframe toy fame. They’re compatible with pretty much any sound emitting gadget: MP3 players, phones, iPods, desktop computers, DVD players, laptops, and game consoles.
