eMDT expects to launch 3D head mounted display in Korea market next year

eMDT expects to launch its 3D head mounted display ‘3D-Cube(model: EM3300)’ in Korea market in the first quarter of 2008. It supports VGA(640*480) resolution. Featuring the company’s ‘3D Stereo SoC’, it is compatible with various devices including iPod, mobile phone, PMP, DVD and etc. It also offers enhanced compatibility of 3D video content by supporting both ‘Side by side’ and ‘Field Sequence’. The company employed a chip instead of a board for the main body to maintain portability.
The 3D-Cube will be displayed during CES 2008 in Las Vegas, USA.
