Epson, the world leader* in data projectors, has unveiled the EPSON EMP-1825 multimedia business projector.  As an upgrade model, the latest business projector from Epson features significant improvements to its wireless and PC-less features, while maintaining the same compact design.

Sophisticated new wireless & PC-less functions
As a partner to Microsoft’s Windows Vista development, Epson’s new projector is fully compatible with Microsoft’s newest operating system**.  Simply select "connect to a network projector" (under "Accessories"), and the PC/laptop will seamlessly detect and establish a wireless connection to the EPSON EMP-1825.

Wireless data transfer speed between PC and projector has also improved five times over its predecessor***, thereby minimizing waiting time and ensuring no visible lag during projection.  The EPSON EMP-1825 also receives an upgrade and now not only supports MPEG 2 movie clips but also the popular WMV format.  For rich multimedia experience, the EPSON EMP-1825 enables the projector to receive and play movie files with sound without additional external speakers.

The new projector is also capable of running a full presentation without the need to be tethered to a PC.  The EPSON EMP-1825 comes integrated with an internal Compact Flash card slot and USB port.  Simply insert any compatible memory card (not included) and the projector automatically detects and beams presentations (converted with provided EMP SlideMaker2 software), photos and even plays movie files in MPEG2, MPEG4 and WMV formats.
