Weird invention of the week goes to the carbon-dioxide sensitive Corset, the C02rset. Not only is this hook-and-eye corset sensitive to C02, it’s also gonna make darn sure that you’re pretty sensitive to C02 too after you’ve worn it, because…

Flickr has just launched a new feature that lets you tag people in the photos you upload to the site. Called “people in photos” it pretty well does what it says on the tin. Revealed on the Flickr blog yesterday, the feature will allow you to tag other members in your photos, find photos of people you know and manage which photos you’re in. Though very similar to Facebook picture-tagging, there a few significant differences: mainly giving users more choice over whether they can be tagged.

Super heart for these! I saw these beautiful (men’s) pyjamas on buzzbishop and immediately fell into a state of heart with them. In black with white mathematical drawings, they’re at the cerebral end of geek pyjamas. Buzzbishop says they’re available from Gap but I have been through the mens sleepwear section of gap.com yet tragically failed to find these. Maybe they’re not on the website
[Anyone got a link? Stick it in the comments...] However, geek boy pyjamas (or pajamas, depending how you spell it) that we could find that are available online include:

At Hallowe’en, normal people dress up as things that scare them – ghosts, gremlins, vampires and suchlike. Geeks are creatures of a different order, yet we too get scared. Where common folk fear the undead and other such irrational hoo-ha, geeks suffer real and deep-seated terrors too, but about much more terrifying things: Trojans and virus for example. With a bit of photoshop wizardry, we give you the Top Ten Geek Hallowe’en costumes.

Ah Hallowe’en. The time when wearing weird things is considered normal. Gadgeteers Brando are offering a few helping trinkets to help you up your game this Hallowe’en party. Referencing the Japanese teen trend for Cosplay… which in case you didn’t know is dressing-up mixed with role-play and made into an art-form (see Wikipedia here)… Brando have released some easy-to-wear leg shackle-balls.

One day someone will breed a Pekingese with an iPhone and the result will be beautiful. Perhaps even better than this. In the meantime there are many useful and even more non-useful ways your dog can interact with technology.
