It may be small, but it’s HD-compatible when connected to a monitor or TV, and has all the trimmings you’d expect from a larger machine.

An Intel Atom D510 1.6GHz processor and NM10 Express chipset are combined with an Nvidia GT218 graphics card, and connections-wise there’s five USB ports, VGA out, a LAN port, memory card reader and of course the HDMI-output. Inside, there’s a 2.5-inch HDD—though at what capacity it hasn’t been said yet—and an optical drive. Like the latest Panasonic’s device, this new Blu-Ry player is compatible with SDXC memory card, and will also be able to read JPEG Files, as well as MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 Video. It features the VIERA Link function, and is DLNA.

One of the wildest things about the Japanese is that they love to have technology everywhere and please that that statement very literally. Even their toilets need to be equipped with suitable tech to make their ‘business’ in that room go smoother. Panasonic may be a notable and respected brand name in the audio visual department but they also have a division that designs toilet seats, but not the ones you or I as average Joe’s would have at home.

You may remember the ASG7710-A41 giant gaming PC Acer introduced and we talked about last year in July…Yep, that flashy orange colored one with impressive specs. This new model, the G7750-A64, keeps intact almost all the specs of its predecessors but gets a reversed jacket meaning this time it has rather a black body than an orange one and its predessor’s Core i7-950 @ 3.06GHz CPU is updated to Core i7-960 @3.20GHz as well as Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 graphics card having been upgraded to GeForce GTX 260.

This 20.7 kg. beast will be available in Japan in late February and will cost around 289, 800 yen..And yes, it indeed sounds like a real investment.
