I have had an Apple TV for years since the thing first came out. Over all of that time, I rarely use the device. Last season I bought the season pass for Heroes because I kept forgetting to watch the show, but I never really used the system because I think…

Windows XP never really managed to make its way out of my computer, even with Vista and 7 knocking on my door. Soon enough I’ll dive head-on into the whole realm of the OS that I love so much with the new Windows XP phone from ViewSonic, called the VCP08. It comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display on the inside, a 2 inch one on the outside, a full QWERTY keypad, a finger mouse and of course the palatable operating system with the GUI that can be used with our eyes closed

I have never been a strong supporter of the screenless MP3 player. It is a niche product for those who want to just throw some tunes on a player and hit shuffle and I never really fell into this scenario. However, I will admit, I had a great time showing off this player because of its slick, modern, and ambiguous design.

Spoiler alert! This is the best MP3 player without a screen on the market. Read on to find out why.

I’m a little shocked that I’ve never really carried a story about Fring. It’s an excellent piece of software that’ll let you make calls over your mobile data connection / WiFi. Not only that but you can chat / text too. It intergrates with Skype, MSN, Google Talk, Twitter and (if you’re hardcore) SIP VoIP connections too.

If you’re a traveller or you just want to save money and keep in touch easily it’s invaluable. You can get it already for Windows Mobile (point your phone browser to www.fring.com/cab) but today they’ve just announced the Android version too. Just grab it from the Market, it’s completely free.
