zen-vision-w-main-small.jpg

Digging though old posts I came across a review I started but never finished dating back to 2006. The photos are even watermarked before we had a logo.

The Zen Vision W was basically a larger version of the Zen Vision:M. They both had a great looking screen and awesome playback of native video. The only difference besides the obvious was that the W had a compact flash memory expansion slot. Though it wasn’t much of an expansion slot since both your music libraries would not integrate with each other. Unfortunately, Creative continues this trend today up to the new X-fi2.

Below are the photos that were prepared for the review back in 2006. How retro…

Winter is coming and Thanko released this week-end a new pair of USB Warm Gloves… Nothing really new compared to the previous generation. The gloves will still be powered by USB and will perfectly heat your fingers and hands thanks to heat generators built inside. The only difference is the design: Black colors and a pair of gloves dedicated to woman…
And like the previous, the gloves come with removable hood that covers your fingers.

Cartel’s CT-1000 brought about lots of laughs here at Engadget HQ, and frankly, we’re shocked and amazed (and glad) these guys are still hanging tough two years later. The newest in-car handset system is the predictably titled CT-2000, which includes a Bluetooth-enabled handset that’s meant to be permanently installed within your vehicle and wired to your audio system. Once installed, all of your mobile calls can be routed to this — because, you know, chatting on a corded phone circa 1992 is entirely more safe than chatting on your mobile or using a handsfree solution. The only difference we can spot between the new guy and the aged sibling is the addition of music control, a “slimmer” (albeit wider) design, room for your phone contacts and one-touch speed dialing. There’s no mention of a price, but trust us, you’re better off in the dark.

[Thanks, Martin]
